Carbon nanocolloids as novel therapeutic formulation for eye

People suffering from ocular diseases significantly are increasing steadily. When it comes to the treatment of eye

diseases affecting the posterior segment of the eye, until now only laser or vitreoretinal surgery are considered efficient

clinical options. The development of new and less invasive therapeutics for posterior eye diseases has been a major focus

of pharmaceutical research in the area of vision sciences. Within the last years this paradigm has shifted, and

nanomedical approaches in the form of nanoparticles-based eye droplets have shown to offer efficient solutions for

ophthalmological conditions.

How open would you be for such a treatment if proposed?
